Detailed Bridge Inspections
ARE’s Inspection Reports provide a concise summary of recommendations with priorities and photo references. The reports includes detailed descriptions as opposed to standard checklists. The reports provide a description of conditions found and the reasoning behind the conditions. Our report template was reviewed by the FRA during development and incorporates their comments.
Bridge Inspection - Complex Bridges
ARE is partnering with NYS&W to establish standardized procedures for bridge capital planning and bidding processes. Also incorporating UAV/UAS imagery of the railroad’s complex bridges to allow for comparative monitoring of conditions.
Bridge Inspection, Rating and Repairs
ARE deploys experienced bridge engineers for each inspection. We have developed an inspection system that effectively utilizes drones, capitalizing on their ability to speed up the inspection process and eliminate the need for special equipment. We streamline workflows and accurately relay field data to ARE’s support team on a continual project basis, during and after inspection.
