ARE employs a rigorous multi‑step QA/QC process for all bridge and structural design projects that addresses site consideration, environmental compliance, concept vetting, design review, and costing.

ARE's environmental team is responsible for environmental regulation compliance, including the preparation of Categorical Exclusion Worksheets, permitting needs assessments, permitting applications, and general application of environmental regulations for a wide variety of projects.

ARE provides project management, engineering, and environmental compliance support for grant funded projects.

ARE offers data solutions that help streamline information and processes. These include capital planning tools, work report automation, and inventory management.

ARE leverages drones, where appropriate, to help clients better manage priorities, optimize capital spending, and enhance emergency response. Our approach improves data collection and efficiency—particularly for bridges and rail infrastructure in hard-to-access locations.
